We will meet for all activities at 5290 Stowe Street (The Arc’s Day Habilitation Building), Lowville, NY, unless otherwise stated.
Program Information: In order for us to be prepared with enough supplies please call 376-6473 and leave your name and telephone number at least two days prior to each event you wish to attend. This will ensure that we have enough supplies and staff. It will also allow us to contact you in case an activity has to be changed or canceled.
Dial-A-Drive Information: Please call 376-6473 no later than 48 hours in advance if you need a ride. This will enable us to better meet the needs of the individuals that use the program. Return calls will be made the day before the event giving you your pick up time.
December 2015 Calendar of Events:
Thursday, December 3rd – Jingle Bell Rocker’s Caroling – The Jingle Bell Rockers will be visiting our local Nursing Home to spread holiday cheer! Plus we have been asked to sing at West Side Terrace in Carthage!. We will then go out for hot chocolate/coffee.
Friday, December 11th – Christmas in Croghan – Tonight we will travel to Croghan to enjoy their Village Wide Christmas celebration! This is usually a fun-filled evening with everything from merchants giving out free samples, horse drawn wagon rides, and caroling on the streets! So come join us and experience Christmas in Croghan!
Thursday, December 17th – Holiday Movie/End of the Year Party – We will meet at Day Hab this evening around 6 PM to enjoy a Holiday movie. Please bring movies you care to share and we will decide which one to watch! Also, refreshments will be served as we celebrate the season! A gift exchange will also happen during the evening. You do not have to participate, but if you’d like to, men please bring a gift for another male and ladies please bring a gift for a female. The cost of the gifts should be around $5.00.
