The Community Development Department promotes community education and
the positive image
of the agency, internally and in the community, through various media
outlets, publications,
fundraising events, and other public relations activities. The
department processes and
acknowledges all donations to The Arc, and to Friends of the Arc
Foundation, and oversees the
Annual Membership Campaign.
Agency brochures, event materials, advertisements, and other marketing
materials all originate in
the Community Development office. The department is responsible for
photographing agency activities,
issuing press releases, and for overseeing the production of promotional
pieces for television, radio, and
community education.
