Bettsey Godfrey
Arc Employee of the Year
The Arc, Oneida-Lewis
Chapter, NYSARC has named Mary “Bettsey” Godfrey as its 2007 Employee of
the Year at its Annual Employee Recognition Event held on November 5 at
the Radisson Hotel-Utica Centre. Godfrey is a Day Habilitation
Specialist II who has worked for The Arc for over 24 years. She has
become a role model to the folks and is greatly respected by her
co-workers.
“The
parents, caretakers and correspondents that she has formed professional
relationships with over the years think the world of her. Her sense of
humor helps to create positive morale among co-workers and consumers,”
said Jeffrey Gilbert, Senior Program Director for Day Services.
Godfrey is a past recipient of the NYS Association Day
Services Providers Direct Service Award.
The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter, NYSARC is a
non-profit human services agency which provides advocacy and services
for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in
Oneida and Lewis counties.
