Employment Services

How The Arc’s Employment Services
Can Work for You

The Arc’s Employment Services began in 1986 and is now well-developed and very successful in providing to persons with disabilities, an array of supports to link them to the working world.

The Arc’s Employment Services provides job placement services to local businesses by matching employer needs with an employee who has the skills and abilities to meet those needs.

Often a good job match means an end to high turnover in entry-level positions, and an addition to your workforce of a highly motivated individual who will do their best to succeed and prove themselves a valuable employee.

And, there is no cost to the employer. The person you hire becomes an employee of your company with the same benefits offered to any other employee in that position.

The Arc seeks employers who will hire individuals with disabilities into their businesses, ideally for a minimum of 20 hours per week, and earning at least minimum wage
