Arc is selected
as Business of the Year
Utica, NY—The Mohawk
Valley Chamber of Commerce held its 17th Annual Business of the
Year award presentation on
December 8 at the Hotel Utica. The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter won Business
of the Year in the category: Non-Profit Organization with over 50
employees. Runners up in this category were HTC and Mohawk Valley
Community Action Agency. “It was a perfect way to wrap up 50 years of
service to the community,” said Angela. Board President, Deborah McGrath
and Vice-President David Harris attended the luncheon along with Arc
staff. Angela thanked staff for their hard work and dedication to
excellence!
Founded by a group of
concerned parents in 1954, The Arc is a non-profit human service
organization that provides advocacy and services for approximately 1,500
individuals with developmental disabilities in Oneida and Lewis counties.
