Director hired for The Arc’s new
CollegeWorks program
Utica, New York—Patrice Modell-Joslin was
recently hired as Director of The Arc's CollegeWorks Program. She will be
responsible for developing and implementing the program under the
direction of The Arc's Employment Services Division Head. The result will
be a quality vocational training program housed at MVCC, which will lead
to community-based employment for the individual student as well as
provide them with a college experience.
Modell-Joslin was formerly employed at Human
Technologies Corporation as Vice-President of Program Operations. She
resides in New Hartford and has a Master of Social Work from Syracuse
University and a bachelor of arts degree from SUNY Fredonia.
The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter NYSARC, Inc. is a
non-profit human service organization that provides advocacy and services
for approximately 1,500 individuals with developmental disabilities in
Oneida and Lewis counties.
