Entry Level

Floating Workshop Supervisor - FT M-F 8:30 - 4pm. High school diploma/GED. One year supervisory experience or one year factory experience. Clean NYS driver's licence. The floor supervisor of a particular work/training area directly supervising the program participants for work performance and Prevocational reinforcement and non-handicapped relief workers assigned to them. This position is similar to that of a foreman in an industrial setting. The person is responsible for supervising production of designated amounts of work in a designated time periods. S/he is also the first line problem solver for people we support assigned to the work area.

Residental Managers/Counselors - Full and Part time, Oneida and Lewis Counties, Variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, split shifts (AM & PM), awake-overnights and weekends/holidays. Staff will ensure the health and safety of the people we support including personal care and assist in the effective and efficient physical and social operation of the residence during their assigned hours. Requires a High School diploma/GED, and a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving abstract.

Direct Support Specialist - Oneida Co, FT/PT Shared position with Residential Services and Day Services programs for specific programs/houses. HSD/GED and six months of documented direct support experience, a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving abstract and the ability to obtain and maintain Medication Certification and FA/CPR certifications.. Provide assistance and supervision of the individual’s day-to-day activities, socialization, recreation and daily living skills development in both programs.

Awake Overnight Shift Supervisor - FT, Thurs-Mon, 10:30pm - 7:30am, Oneida County. High School Diploma/GED and 3 yrs of experience as a Direct Support Professional, Residence Manager or equivalent experience. Valid NYS Drivers License with an acceptabe driving abstract. Under direction of the Associate Director of Residential Services ensures the Residence Counselors or other Direct Support Professionals on the awake overnight shifts are trained and working in accordance to their job descriptions to include site specific awake overnight responsibilities.

Habilitation Specialist – Full Time, Per-Diem and part time, Oneida and Lewis Counties, High School Diploma/GED and experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or specialized training in related field, and a clean valid NY State driver’s license with an acceptable drivers abstract. The staff member is responsible to provide individuals with developmental disabilities with training and supervision to the extent required by their Individual Services Plan (ISP). This training and supervision will take place in whatever setting is deemed appropriate under the guidelines of the plan, which has been developed with the individual.

Respite Specialist – FT- Oneida County. Community/Arnold Ave. M - F, 2:15 – 10pm The Respite Specialist will provide respite for family members of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. This respite service will take place in the community. Staff will demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with the people we support, other staff and family. Requires a High School diploma/GED, and a valid NYS driver’s

Day Habilitation Specialist I - FT Marcy & Rome, day hours. High School Diploma/GED and a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving abstract. Staff will assist in the implementation of the person’s ISP/Day Habilitation plan by providing direct care, training, and supervision to the extent required by utilizing as much community based resources and supports as appropriate to the plan.

Senior Workshop Supervisor / CDL Class A Truck Driver - FT, Oneida County, M-F 8:30am - 4pm. High School Diploma/GED. One year supervisory experience, or one year factory experience. 1-3 yrs of general work exp. CDL Class A license with 1yr+ commercial driving exp preferred. Primarily responsible for supervising production of designated amounts of work in a designated time period. Duties similar to that of an industrial foreman in an industrial setting. Secondarily responsible for the transport, driving and delivery of product.

Maintenance Mechanic -FT, days, Oneida County, Coordinates and implements the day to day maintenance/basic renovation of the agency’s building and production equipment. High school diploma and two to four years experience in the building trade field. A thorough working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, masonry, painting and roofing fields.

Associates Degree

Activities Specialist -PT, Lewis County May Include Nights And Weekends An Associate's Degree from an accredited college, and 1 yr of experience in working with individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years experience. Previous supervisory experience, preferred. Valid New York State driver's license and an approved copy of a Driver's Abstract from the Department of Motor Vehicles must be available. Must be computer literate and experienced in working with Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, Access and a large database. Responsible to plan, coordinate and direct various programs as assigned for the waiver and contract programs with support provided by the Adult's Respite Programs Coordinator.

Bachelor Degree

Program Director - FT, Oneida County, Bachelor's degree in a field of education, human services, social work, or a related field, or Registered Nurse. Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional status. Professional level proven leadership experience in a developmental disabilities program (one year). Must be able to be trained in emergency first aid, including CPR and behavioral techniques as mandated by site needs. Is responsible for the direction and day to day operation of Day Habilitation services for persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Employment Specialist - FT, Oneida County, flexible schedule. Bachelor’s degree required and one year experience in vocational rehabilitation program. Bachelor's Degree, minimum of 1 year experience working with people with disabilites; or Associates Degree, minimum of 2 years experience working with people with disabilites; or High School Diploma, minimum of 3 years experience working with people with disabilites. Must have acceptable driver’s license, personal vehicle and willingness to transport self and consumers, if needed. Responsible for the provision of employment supports to individuals with disabilities to help them identify and meet their vocational needs, maximizing their independence and utilizing all of the resources in the community available to them.


Registered Nurse - FT, Oneida County, New York State Licensure as a registered professional nurse. Specializd training or one year experience in working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred. Valid NYS drivers licence. To ensure the supervision and provision of nursing services to the people we support at program site. Responsible for the implementation of medical policies and procedure within assigned sites and in accordance with Arc and OPWDD regulations.

LPN - Residential Services - FT, Oneida and Lewis County - Flexible Hours. Must hold valid certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse within New York State. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred. Must have the ability to become First Aid and CPR certified and other necessary trainings to assist at the Residence. Must be able to pass medications at Residence. Must have a valid, acceptable NYS driver's license. To assist the Residential Services Registered Nurse/Program Coordinator in providing the day to day oversight and health care for the people we support in Residential Services. Follows the Agency's Core Values and Mission statements.

Speech Language Pathologist – FT, days, Oneida County. Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech Pathology, Permanent Certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped. One year experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with communication disorders in the Birth to School-Aged population. Valid NYS drivers license. To provide intervention and evaluation of speech and language disorders to those children who are identified in need of speech therapy services. Provides direct speech therapy intervention to those children who are assigned to clinician’s caseload. Evaluates and completes annual evaluations.
