Entry Level

Residential Managers/Counselors – Full and Part time, Oneida and Lewis Counties, Variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, split shifts (AM & PM), awake-overnights and weekends/holidays. Staff will ensure the health and safety of the people we support including personal care and assist in the effective and efficient physical and social operation of the residence during their assigned hours.  Requires a High School diploma/GED and a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving abstract.

Respite Specialist - FT, Utica, M-F 2:15pm – 10pm. The Respite Specialist will provide respite for family members of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.  This respite service may take place in the community. Staff will demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with other staff, family and individuals. PENDING

Per Diem Respite Specialist – relief, Oneida County. Community/Arnold Ave. M-F 4pm – 10pm The Respite Specialist will provide respite for family members of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.  This respite service will take place in the community. Staff will demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with other staff, family and individuals.

Respite Specialist – FT, Utica Respite Care Home. Fri 1:30 – 9:30pm, Sat and Sun 8am – 9:30pm. High school diploma/GED.. The Respite Specialist will provide respite for family members of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.  This respite service is based at a site-based program.  Staff will demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with other staff, family and individuals.

Habilitation Specialist 1 – Part Time, Oneida and Lewis Counties, High school diploma/GED. Requires a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Responsible for the learning experiences and supervision of persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities.  Will demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with other staff, family and people we serve.

Habilitation Specialist II – Part Time, Oneida and Lewis Counties, High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of 1 yr. documented experience with the DD population or 6 months experience and specialized training in related fields that meet the distinct needs of the individuals.  A clean valid NY State driver’s license. The staff member is responsible to provide individuals with developmental disabilities with training and supervision to the extent required by their Individual Services Plan (ISP).  This training and supervision will take place in whatever setting is deemed appropriate under the guidelines of the plan, which has been developed with the individual.

Day Habilitation Specialist I – FT, days, Rome, Turin. H.S. diploma/GED and requires a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.  Ensures implementation of the person’s ISP/Day Habilitation Plan by providing direct care, training, and supervision to the extent required by utilizing as many community based resources and supports as appropriate to the plan.  

Direct Support Specialist – FT, days, Turin/Lowville.  H.S. diploma/GED and requires a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. At least 6 months of Direct Support Professional experience Provide assistance and supervision of the individual’s day-to-day activities, socialization, recreation and daily living skills development.

Day Habilitation Specialist I TempFT, days, Rome. H.S. diploma/GED and requires a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ensures implementation of the person’s ISP/Day Habilitation Plan by providing direct care, training, and supervision to the extent required by utilizing as many community based resources and supports as appropriate to the plan.  

Day Habilitation Specialist 1 Float – FT, days, Oneida County. H.S. diploma/GED and requires a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Assists in the implementation of the person’s ISP/Day Habilitation Plan by providing direct care, training, and supervision to the extent required by utilizing as many community based resources and supports as appropriate to the plan.

Floating Workshop Supervisor- FT, days, Utica. High school diploma/GED, valid NYS drivers license, 1 yr supervisory or factory experience. The incumbent serves as the floor supervisor of a particular work area directly supervising the people we support assigned to them. PENDING

HR Staff Development Assistant – FT, days, Utica. To work in conjunction with the HR Staffing Coordinator, HR Assistant and the HR Staff Development Specialist to ensure the High School diploma and specialized training or experience with computer software applications and data processing.  1 year experience in Human Resources or Business Office environment. Ensure efficient and smooth operation of the Centralized Hiring application, screening and hiring process.  Demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with other staff, family, individuals, applicants and candidates.

Awake Overnight Shift Supervisor Lewis County, PT – Float- Thurs 10:30pm – 7:30am, Fri 10:30pm – 7:30am, Sat 10:30pm – 7:30am.High School Diploma; 3years of experience as a Direct Support Professional, Residence Manager or equivalent experience; valid New York State drivers license. Under direction of the Assistant Director of Residential Services ensures the Residence Counselors or other Direct Support Professionals on the awake overnight shift are trained and working in accordance to their job descriptions to include site specific awake overnight responsibilities.

On Call Supervisor – FT, Sat 3pm – Tues 3:30pm. High School Diploma; One year experience as a Direct Support Professional, Residence Manager or equivalent experience; valid New York State Drivers License. Under direction of the Assistant Director of Residential Services ensures the Residence Counselors or other Direct Support Professionals on all shifts are trained and working in accordance to their job descriptions to include site specific responsibilities; to assure appropriate coverage on all shifts, schedule replacement staff; provide supervision and guidance to all Residence Counselors and Residence Managers.

CSS Community Integration – Per diem, 6 hrs a week. Clinton, surrounding areas.  Valid NYS drivers license. Work 1:1 with an individual on her power point presentations and assist her with set up and transporting her props for her play.

Program Coordinator – FT,  varied schedule, Oneida County. Bachelors Degree in the field of Education, or Human Services or related fields, or certification which meets the QIDP guidelines, plus 1 year experience OR an Associates Degree and 3 years related supervisory experience OR a High School diploma  and  5 years experience in the running of an IRA. Overall responsible for the health and safety of the people we support, responsible for the effective and efficient physical and social operation of the residences and responsible for the development of the positive relationships with neighbors, local businesses, and other service providers.


Associate Degree

CW Work Life Skills Assistant – FT days, Utica/Rome. Associate’s Degree in Human Services or related and/or three years experience in community based employment program for individuals with disabilities. Valid NYS drivers license. Responsible for providing training and support to individuals in the College Works Programs in Utica and Rome, in the classroom and in the community. Includes student assessments, job development activities for unpaid experiences, individualized job coaching and on site support in internships. Serves as back up the Instructors or Coordinators, as assigned.


Bachelor Degree

Team Leader – FT, Oneida County. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. 1 year experience working with people with developmental disabilities or 1 year exp working as a service coordinator with any population. QIDP status. At least 5 years of exp with assessment or service plan development. At least 3 – 5 years exp in the area of supervision of employees and day to day departmental responsibility. The role of the MSC supervisor is to ensure that service coordinators provide high quality, person centered MSC services and meet all requirements of the service.” Oversee a Team of MSC’s, which includes all day-to-day, utilization and service coordination/case management activities. This individual has both service coordination and operational responsibility for SC unit. PENDING

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor – FT, days, Utica, Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field from an accredited institution of higher learning and three years supervised experience in a New York State certified vocational training program or training deemed appropriate for the position by program administrator. To provide clinical rehabilitation evaluations, assessments, and counseling to consumers to optimize their potential for success in the community. This is a professional position which requires knowledge of current rehabilitation trends and methods. PENDING

Facility Based Program Director  FT, days, may require flexibility. Utica. Masters degree and 1 yr administrative experience, Bachelors with 5 yrs administrative experience or Associates and 10 yrs administrative experience. Valid NYS driver’s license. Assist with planning, developing, directing and coordinating activities within the department; assist in the formulation of the department goals and objectives to include planning and development. Assist in the development and implementation of vocational services within Oneida and Lewis County. Responsible to provide for the development and implementation of vocational and outcomes that will foster the highest level of community integration which the program consumers can aspire to.

Network Support Specialist – FT, M-F Bachelor degree in the computer science field with a major in applied networking or Associate degree in computer science with two years’ experience in a virtualized network environment and a Microsoft Certified System Engineer or have at least 5 years of hands on experience in a virtualized network environment and have a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification. The incumbent will responsible for the management and administration of Agency’s computer and network systems.  The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below in the essential functions section. Travel is a requirement to all agency locations.

Service Coordinator -  FT, Oneida and Lewis Co., flexible schedule. Bachelor’s degree in health or human services to include a practicum or internship in assessments and service plan development. Valid NYS drivers license. Service Coordinator will work with an individual with developmental disabilities and his/her family to promote the capacity of those involved to identify their needs and to procure resources in a manner that will enable them to acquire competency to rely on their own resources and abilities.

CFS Service Liaison FT, Oneida County, days – varies as needed, Bachelors degree from an accredited program in a human services field or professional licensure which qualifies for QIDP status. One year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and specialized training. Valid NYS drivers license. The Service Liaison will have the responsibility to oversee the clinical needs and services of the Community Habilitation and In-Home Respite programs.  Responsibilities include completing and reviewing assessments, plan development and implementation, and direct care as necessary.

(2)Employment Specialist  – FT, Oneida County, flexible schedule.  Bachelor’s degree required and one year experience in vocational rehabilitation program.  Must have acceptable driver’s license, personal vehicle and willingness to transport self and consumers, if needed. Responsible for the provision of employment supports to individuals with disabilities to help them identify and meet their vocational needs, maximizing their independence and utilizing all of the resources in the community available to them.

School to Work Coordinator FT, days, Oneida County. Bachelor’s degree with one year or an Associates degree with two years of experience in the field of education, human services, or a related field. Valid NYS drivers license. Provide students referred to Foundations/Life after High School with classroom based instruction, community based experiences and supervision, as recommended in their Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) of those referred

Intensive Services Program Manager – FT, days, Utica. Bachelor degree in Human Service or related and 1 year experience in working with individual’s with disabilities or Associates degree and 5 years experience. Must have at least 1 year supervisory experience where quality assurance and quality improvement were direct responsibilities. Must have a current, valid NYS driver’s license. .Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Employment Solutions, this position will assist in directing and coordinating all activities within Intensive Services Program.  Ensure that the established goals and objectives of the ES division are accomplished.  Serve as an integral member of the Employment Management Team.  Primary responsibility is to oversee the overall operations of Access VR Contracts including Supported Employment and Unified Service Contract.  This position will take the lead in research and development of enclave opportunities.

Special Education TeacherRelief hours, Oneida County Masters Degree in Special Education and Permanent New York State Certification as a Special Education Teacher. One year of experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with learning disorders and delays in the Birth to School-Aged population. To provide evaluation of and intervention for learning disorders and delays to those children who are identified to be in need of special instruction services. Will demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with other staff, family and individuals.
