Nickelback Supervisor- Full Time, Waterville NY (Oneida County), Includes nights and weekends. Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the day to day activities of The Nickelback Redemption Center owned and operated by The Arc, whose goal is employing individuals with disabilities. Requires High School Diploma, 1-3 years retail experience, and valid NYS Driver’s License.
Nickelback Driver- Per Diem, Waterville NY (Oneida County), Includes nights and weekends. Responsible for the pick up, transport and delivery of product to Nickelback Redemption Center, owned and operated by The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter. This is essentially a route based driving assignment covering multiple counties. Secondarily this position will assist in the redemption center as needed when not in the vehicle. Demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with other staff, family and individuals. Requires High School Diploma/GED, 3-6 months general work experience, valid NYS Driver’s License.

This position is responsible for processing, counting and sorting all incoming bottles, cans and recyclables that arrive and depart from the work site. Demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with other staff, family. Requires High School Diploma/GED with 1 Year of general work experience and a valid NYS Driver’s License.

Residential Managers/Counselors – Full and Part time, Oneida and Lewis Counties, Variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, split shifts (AM & PM), awake-overnights and weekends/holidays. Staff will ensure the health and safety of the people we support including personal care and assist in the effective and efficient physical and social operation of the residence during their assigned hours. Requires a High School diploma/GED, and a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving abstract.
Awake Overnight Shift Supervisor – Oneida Co. (PT 27 Hrs., Thurs-Sun) High School Diploma/GED and three years of experience as a Direct Support Professional, Residence Manager or equivalent experience; Valid New York State Drivers License with an approved Drivers Abstract. Under direction of the Assistant Director of Residential Services ensures the Residence Counselors or other Direct Support Professionals on the awake overnight shift are trained and working in accordance to their job descriptions to include site specific awake overnight responsibilities.
Respite Specialist – FT- R, Oneida County. Community/Arnold Ave. M-F, 2:15 – 10pm The Respite Specialist will provide respite for family members of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. This respite service will take place in the community. Staff will demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with the people we support, other staff and family. Requires a High School diploma/GED, and a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving abstract.
Habilitation Specialist I – Per-Diem, Oneida and Lewis Counties, High school diploma/GED. Requires a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Responsible for the learning experiences and supervision of persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Will demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with other staff, family and people we serve.
Habilitation Specialist II – Per-Diem, Oneida and Lewis Counties, High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of 1 yr. documented experience with the DD population or 6 months experience and specialized training in related fields that meet the distinct needs of the individuals. A clean valid NY State driver’s license. The staff member is responsible to provide individuals with developmental disabilities with training and supervision to the extent required by their Individual Services Plan (ISP). This training and supervision will take place in whatever setting is deemed appropriate under the guidelines of the plan, which has been developed with the individual.
Transportation Coordinator – PT, flexible schedule, Lewis County. Class D Driver’s License and Acceptable driving record. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. High School Diploma/GED. Coordinate the provision of transportation to individuals who qualify to and from Supported Employment sites in the community
Floor Care Specialist – FT. Oneida Co. M- F 3:30- 11pm. Staff will ensure routine floor maintenance of all commercial sites within agency and work closely with the Custodian Coordinator to perform all necessary duties. Staff must have a thorough knowledge of machines and cleaning chemicals used, and three (3) years experience in floor stripping and waxing. High school diploma or GED, and a clean valid NYS Drivers license and ability to operate Agency vehicles are required.
CC/QA Specialist – FT, M-F, Flexible. Oneida County. High School Diploma with a minimum of three (3) years experience in the field of Human Services or an Associates Degree with a minimum of one (1) year experience in the field of Human Services. Demonstrated proficiency in computer business software including but not limited to: Microsoft Works, Office, Access and Excel. Ability to access all Agency facilities. Under the general direction of the Corporate Compliance/HIPAA Privacy Officer, the CC/QA Specialist supports in the operation of Agency compliance and quality assurance/quality improvement systems to ensure efficient and smooth operation within the Corporate Compliance department.
Community Integration Facilitator – FT, days, Rome, Associates Degree in Human Services, 1 yr exp in DD field. Valid NYS drivers license. Assists with the implementation of the person’s ISP/Day Habilitation Plan by providing direct care, training and supervision to an extent required by utilizing as many community based resources and supports as appropriate to the plan. CW Resident Assistant – FT, Mon and Fri 1:30pm – 9pm, Wed 1pm – 3pm, Sat and Sun 11am – 8p. Associates Degree in Human Services or related field. One year full-time experience working with people with disabilities. Valid driver’s license overall responsibility for the health and safety of the individuals in the residence and for maintaining the physical and social operation of the residence. Also responsible for providing the individuals who live in the residence with training and supervision to the extent required by their ISP.
Clinical Supervisor – FT, include evenings and weekends. Bachelors Degree in the field of Education, Psychology, Human Services or related fields, or certification which meets the QIDP guidelines. Two (2) years experience working with people who are developmentally disabled. Specialized training in the Human service field may be substituted for one (1) year experience. Valid NYS drivers license. Responsible for the health and safety of the people we support, responsible for the effective and efficient clinical and social operation of the residences and responsible for the development of the positive relationships with neighbors, local businesses, and other service providers. Oversees and supervises the staff with the implementation of residential habilitation plans
ES Service Liaison – FT, days, Utica. Bachelor’s degree in a field of Education, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years proven experience in OPWDD operated program(s). Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional [QIDP] status preferred. Ensures and provides oversight for the integration and implementation of all services for each person we support. Responsible for processing daily service documentation for billing OPWDD-funded Employment Services.
Work Life Skills Instructor – FT – Rome MVCC Campus. Provide individuals with disabilities with academic instruction, training and supervision to the extent required by their Individualized Service Plan (ISP) or Vocational Program Plan. Responsibilities include development and implementation of college based classroom instruction for work life skill development for students enrolled with the College Works Program at MVCC. Must be able to demonstrate accurate and up to date documentation of records per program and governing regulations. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field and one year of experience in working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred, a clean, valid NY State Drivers License.
CFS Service Liaison FT, Oneida County, days – varies as needed, Bachelors degree in human services field or professional licensure which qualifies for QIDP status. One year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and specialized training. Valid NYS drivers license. The Service Liaison will have the responsibility to oversee the clinical needs and services of the Community Habilitation and In-Home Respite programs. Responsibilities include completing and reviewing assessments, plan development and implementation, and direct care as necessary. PENDING
Employment Specialist - FT, Oneida County, flexible schedule. Bachelor’s degree required and one year experience in vocational rehabilitation program. Must have an acceptable driver’s license, personal vehicle and willingness to transport self and consumers, if needed. Responsible for the provision of employment supports to individuals with disabilities to help them identify and meet their vocational needs, maximizing their independence and utilizing all of the resources in the community available to them. Service Coordinator – FT, Oneida County, flexible schedule. Bachelor’s Degree with one year experience in health and human services field which included a practicum or internship offering experience in assessments and service plan development for people with developmental disabilities and/or other populations. Valid NYS drivers license. To work with an individual with developmental disabilities and his/her family to promote the capacity of those involved to identify their needs and to procure resources in a manner that will enable them to acquire competency to rely on their own resources and abilities. Vocational Rehabilitation Coordinator – Lewis Co, BA in Human Services or a related field or Licensed as a RN. Thorough understanding of sheltered workshop performance criteria. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Must posses valid NYS drivers license with an acceptable driving record. To provide treatment coordination to consumers referred to the Clinic and the Sheltered Workshop. To provide rehabilitation services to consumers in the Sheltered Workshop. Provides Service Coordination to consumers and their collateral. To provide clinical rehabilitation services requiring knowledge of current rehabilitation trends and methods. Must be able to maintain consumer confidentiality and work within the program setting independently and as a team member.
School to Work Coordinator – Oneida Co, Bachelor’s degree with one year or an Associates degree with two years of experience in the field of education, human services, or a related field,. Valid NYS drivers license with an acceptable driving record.. Provide students referred to Foundations/Life after High School with classroom based instruction, community based experiences and supervision, as recommended in their Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) of those referred. Responsibilities include developing, revising and delivering work life skills and employability skills on a college campus. Must communicate effectively with school districts, families and employers, colleges and other community worksites incorporated into the program. PENDING
