Entry Level Positions – Require a High School Diploma/GED and a clean valid NY State Drivers License with an acceptable drivers abstract. The positions may require a full range of body motion with the ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Residential Managers/Counselors – Full and Part time, Oneida and Lewis Counties, Variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, split shifts (AM & PM), awake-overnights and weekends/holidays. Staff will ensure the health and safety of the people we support including personal care and assist in the effective and efficient physical and social operation of the residence during their assigned hours.

Direct Support Specialist – Oneida & Lewis Co., FT/PT Shared position with Residential Services and Day Services programs for specific programs/houses. Six months of documented direct support experience, , and the ability to obtain and maintain Medication Certification and FA/CPR training. Staff will provide assistance and supervision of the individual’s day-to-day activities, socialization, recreation and daily living skills development in both programs.

Awake Overnight Shift Supervisor – FT, Thurs–Mon, 10:30pm – 7:30am, Oneida County. High School Diploma/GED and 3 yrs. of experience as a Direct Support Professional, Residence Manager or equivalent experience. Under direction of the Associate Director of Residential Services ensures the Residence Counselors or other Direct Support Professionals on the awake overnight shifts are trained and working in accordance to their job descriptions to include site specific awake overnight responsibilities.

Habilitation Specialist – Full time, part time and per-diem hours, Oneida and Lewis Counties, Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or specialized training in related field. The staff member is responsible to provide individuals with developmental disabilities with training and supervision to the extent required by their Individual Services Plan (ISP). This training and supervision will take place in whatever setting is deemed appropriate under the guidelines of the plan which has been developed with the individual.

Respite Specialist – FT- Oneida County. Community/Arnold Ave. M-F, 2:15–10pm The Respite Specialist will provide respite for family members of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. This respite service will take place in the community. Staff will demonstrate professional conduct to include compassion, dignity, and respect when interacting with the people we support, other staff and family.

Day Habilitation Specialist I - FT, Arnold Ave, Riverside, Rome, day hours. Staff will assist in the implementation of the person’s ISP/Day Habilitation plan by providing direct care, training, and supervision to the extent required by utilizing as much community based resources and supports as appropriate to their plan.

Sr. Workshop Supervisor – FT, Lowville, day hours, 1-3 yrs. supervisory experience or 1-3 yrs. factory exp. This is a floor supervisor of a particular work/training area directly supervising the people we support for work performance and prevocational reinforcement assigned to them.

Hospital Sitters – Per-diem, Lewis and Oneida County. May accept CNA training or a combination of education, training and experience. The Hospital Sitter remains with the patient to provide observation and support. The Hospital Sitter provides direct supervision and frequent safety checks on patients identified as high risk for safety issues such as elopement, choking, falls, wandering, self-injury, confusion, removal of medical supports such as oxygen, IVs, NG tubes, catheters etc. and responds accordingly.

Bachelor Degree

Corporate Compliance/Quality Assurance Director – FT, Oneida County. A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university (QIDP). A minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Human Services. Function as a member of the Residential Services Administrative Team with responsibility for assuring the corporate compliance and quality assurance processes within the division. Requires the ability to work independently with accuracy.

Accounts Receivable Manager – FT, days, Utica. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field with 3-4 years experience, Working knowledge of billing types inclusive but not limited to Medicaid, OPWDD, SED and third party insurance.This position is responsible for the oversight and process of the billing function. The Sr. Accounts Receivable Clerk reports to this position. The primary goal is to bill funding sources within regulated time restrictions for services, receive and post payments, and record and reconcile billing data on a monthly basis. This accounting work involves an in depth understanding of the billing requirements and internal processes, as well as the ability to understand and follow generally accepted accounting principles in the reconciliation, review and reporting of the various general ledger accounts that relate to the function.

Service Coordinator – FT, Oneida County, flexible schedule. Bachelor's Degree in health or human services field, or Bachelor's Degree in a non-health field with a minimum of 20 college credits in health or human services and one year experience working with people with developmental disabilities, or 1 year experience as a service coordinator/case manager with any population. A clean valid NY State driver’s license with an approved copy of drivers abstract is required. Will work with individuals with developmental disabilities to promote self-advocacy and informed choice, assist to identify the needs and goals of individuals with developmental disabilities and to procure resources in a manner that will enable them to acquire competency to rely on their own resources and abilities.

Employment Specialist – FT, Oneida and Lewis Counties, flexible schedule. Bachelor’s degree required and one year experience in vocational rehabilitation program. Bachelor's Degree, minimum of 1 year experience working with people with disabilites; or Associates Degree, minimum of 2 years experience working with people with disabilites; or High School Diploma, minimum of 3 years experience working with people with disabilites. Must have a clean valid NY State driver’s license with an approved drivers abstract, a personal vehicle, and a willingness to transport self and consumers, if needed. Responsible for the provision of employment supports to individuals with disabilities to help them identify and meet their vocational needs, maximizing their independence and utilizing all of the resources in the community available to them.

Program Manager (Temporary) – FT, Lewis County, flexible schedule. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and 1 yr. experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (QIDP status), or Bachelor's degree in a Human Services and 2 yrs. experience, or an Associate’s degree and 3 yrs. exp, or High school diploma and 5 yrs. exp. Must have a clean valid NY State driver’s license with an approved drivers abstract. Overall responsibility for the health and safety of the individuals, responsible for the efficient physical and social operation of the residence and responsible for the development of positive relationships with neighbors, local businesses and other service providers. Oversee the staff in the implementation of the Individualized Service Plan.

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor – FT, Lowville. Responsible for provision of employment supports to people with disabilities. Such services include clinical rehabilitation evaluations, assessments and counseling as needed to assist people we support identify and meet their vocational goals.

Employment Counselor – FT, Oneida County Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, 2 yrs. exp working with people with disabilities or Associate’s Degree in Human Services with 3 yrs. exp. Responsible for provision of employment supports to people with disabilites. Such services include clinical rehabilitation evaluations, assesments, and counseling as needed to assist people we support identify and meet their vocational goals.

Service Liaison ES – FT, Utica, Bachelor’s degree in a field of Education, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years proven experience in OPWDD operated program(s). Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional [QIDP] status preferred. Ensures and provides oversight for the integration and implementation of all services for each person we support. Responsible for processing daily service documentation for billing OPWDD-funded Employment Services. Licensed

Residential LPN – FT, Flexible schedule to meet program needs. Oneida and Lewis Counties. NYS LPN license and a clean valid NY State driver’s license with an acceptable driving abstract. To assist the Residential Services Registered Nurse/Program Coordinator in providing the day to day oversight and health care for the people we support in Residential Services. Speech Language Pathologist – FT, days, Oneida County. Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech Pathology, Permanent Certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped. One year experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with communication disorders in the Birth to School-Aged population. Valid NYS driver’s license. To provide intervention and evaluation of speech and language disorders to those children who are identified in need of speech therapy services. Provide direct speech therapy intervention to those children who are assigned to clinician’s caseload. Evaluates and completes annual evaluations.
