trainingThe Arc provides 13 days of paid training and orientation for new hires. Additionally, paid training is also provided on an ongoing basis throughout an employee's career.

We also have a Supervisor Development Program which is presented 6 times a year in the areas of Management and Leadership. Supervisors can benefit from presentation from external presenters on specific topics. The Arc is also one of the founding members of a tri-agency Training Consortium designed to share trainers and resources to maximize learning.

The Arc has recently partnered with NYSID, University of Rochester and SETI to offer training opportunities for professional growth through seminars hosted in our Conference and Training Center.

PUBLIC BENEFITS

The Arc's Conference and Training Center is a state of the art facility that offers a wide range of training option for businesses within the greater Utica Area. The center houses 2 large screen LCD TV's, ceiling mounted LCD projector and an 8x8' projection screen, podium with laptop and internet access, VCR/DVD player, ceiling mounted microphones and speakers throughout the room, capability to divide the room into three smaller rooms for breakout sessions and a large reception area. Food and Beverage service is also available. Rental fees do apply.
