The Arc’s Splish Splash Aquatic Developmental Play Group is available for children with special needs, birth to three years of age, through the Oneida County Early Intervention Program.
The Arc’s Splish Splash program features a wide array of therapeutic aquatic toys for active involvement in all areas of development. The aquatic environment provides a wonderful sensory experience, as well as many other benefits, for children who are affected by low muscle tone and/or other developmental issues such as decreased strength, endurance and coordination.
The program is facilitated by a trained therapist. Each child must be accompanied in the water by an adult.
The Arc’s Splish Splash Aquatic Developmental Play Group takes place on Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare, Faxton Campus Aqua Therapy Pool located on Sunset Avenue in Utica, NY.
