
Community and Family Services offers a variety of services for adults and children with developmental disabilities. Services are designed to help strengthen skills and/or achieve satisfying and rewarding connections and relationships. Services are offered in the community, in family homes, and in certified sites. All the services are directed toward individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities who are living either with caregivers or independently.
Respite services offer the caregiver(s) an opportunity to get a break from day to day responsibilities. It is provided in many different ways both in the family home and in the community.
Habilitation services offer individuals the training, supervision and oversight needed by the individual to attain his/her maximum potential. These can be provided in a variety of different settings and are specifically tailored to work toward the person’s valued outcomes.
The Guardianship program is designed to assist families to look ahead in the life of their family member with a disability so that they can make the best plans possible for their loved one. The Arc provides informational services for families as well as a corporate guardianship program.

With support of staff and volunteers, individuals plan, rehearse and perform a musical every fall.
Provides trained staff to care for people with disabilities when the family needs to be away.
Provides information to professionals and families about guardianship needs of an individual with a developmental disability.
Provides opportunities for people with disabilities to develop their own life plans and take advantage of opportunities for independence, integration, individualization and productivity in the community.
