As the benefactor of the Arc, The
Friends of the Arc Foundation, Inc. is comprised of concerned
community leaders, families and friends who are committed to supporting
and raising money for The Arc.
The Arc provides educational,
vocational, residential and recreational services to individuals with
disabilities and their families in Oneida and Lewis counties. Acting as
an independent third party, the Foundation directs your contribution to
ensure that these services will continue to be available to those that
need and deserve them.
Through the Friends of the Arc
Foundation, The Arc’s programs can benefit not only by means of
immediate gifts, but also via trusts and bequests that can be set up to
keep on giving. We invite you to explore with your attorney or tax
advisor the various ways of supporting the vital work we do.
Annually, the Friends of the Arc
Foundation sponsors events such as the Arc Gala, Silent Auction,
Golf Tournament and a Spring Dance. Proceeds directly
benefit people with developmental disabilities in our two county
region.
