An after school program that serves children in grades K through 5 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Transportation from school is provided in the Whitesboro School District. The program runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on the Whitesboro school calendar from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm. The program addresses children’s individual needs in the areas of social skills and developing peer relationships while offering parents a safe and appropriate option for after school care.  Snack is provided.
Participants must be waiver eligible.

TEEN After School Connections


Provides after school care that is fun, safe and supportive for middle/high school teens, ages 13-18, with a variety of disabilities. Limited transportation from schools to the program at The Respite Care Home is provided for teens in the Utica City School District.  There is time in the afternoon to work on homework, make and eat snacks, play games, create arts and crafts projects, watch movies, listen to music and enjoy each other’s company. Additional respite care is available at the Respite Care Home beyond the hours of the program.
Participants must be waiver eligible.
