Provides children ages 5-10 years old with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their siblings with a safe, fun environment that encourages appropriate social interaction and friendship building. The purpose of the program is to give families time away from their duties as caregivers while their children enjoy supported recreation time supervised by trained staff. The program meets from 9:00 am-12:00 pm on most 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month.
Participants must be waiver eligible, siblings welcome.
Program is located at the Riverside Day Habilitation building 9081 River Road Marcy NY 13403.

Saturday Friends in the Afternoon
A program geared to children ages 11-14 years old with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their siblings giving them a place to explore activities in fun environment that encourages age appropriate social interaction and friendship building. This program gives families time away from their duties as caregivers while their children enjoy board games, Wii, and plenty of outlets for creativity all while supervised by trained staff. The program meets 1:00-4:00 pm on most 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month.
Participants must be waiver eligible, siblings welcome.
