Family Advocacy Program

The Arc of Oneida-Lewis Chapter, NYSARC welcomes you to the Family Advocacy Program (FAP). The Arc Oneida-Lewis wishes to help empower the families in Oneida and Lewis County who have a loved one with an intellectual or developmental disability become personally involved in public policy and aware of the services New York State has to offer.

FAP helps family members gain the tools necessary to become an effective advocate as well as support families as they try and navigate the numerous services New York offers. As changes take place within the service delivery systems, it is vital for families to stay connected with our organization so we can provide the most recent and updated information.

FAP supplies families with the information they need to stay informed in order to better advocate on behalf of their loved one.
