We will meet for all activities at 5290 Stowe Street (The Arc’s Day Habilitation Building), Lowville, NY, unless otherwise stated.
Program Information: In order for us to be prepared with enough supplies please call 376-6473 and leave your name and telephone number at least two days prior to each event you wish to attend. This will ensure that we have enough supplies and staff. It will also allow us to contact you in case an activity has to be changed or canceled.
Dial-A-Drive Information: Please call 376-6473 no later than 48 hours in advance if you need a ride. This will enable us to better meet the needs of the individuals that use the program. Return calls will be made the day before the event giving you your pick up time.
August 2016 Calendar of Events:
Thursday, August 4th – Gents Night Out 6-9PM - Earlier in the year we had a ‘Ladies Night’, tonight will be our ‘Gentlemen’s Night’. We will travel to Watertown to Friendly’s Ice Cream for dessert. Please eat dinner before leaving home.
Thursday, August 11th – Story Walk – DEC has a new story book on their trail! This is always an enjoyable walk!, Bring money, as after our walk we will go to Dunkin’ Donuts for coffee/tea/hot chocolate/soda!!!
Saturday, August 20th – Tupper Lake Flea Market – Today we will travel to Tupper Lake to take part in their Annual Flea Market. Please bring a bag lunch, plus money for something to eat on the way home. There will be many, many vendors selling their products so bring extra money in case you see something you would like.
Thursday, August 25th - Dinner Out - A new restaurant has opened in Croghan where we will have dinner this evening. Please think about bringing $15-$20 for dinner plus dessert.
