The Arc of Oneida-Lewis Chapter welcomes you to the Family Support Network. We're empowering the families in Oneida and Lewis Counties who have a loved one with an intellectual or developmental disability become personally involved in public policy and aware of the services.

The goal of this group is to bring like-minded people together to form a unified voice to advocate and enhance the lives of the people we support.  Another function of this group is to lend support to family members, advocates, and caregivers who are a part of our agency.

Some of the specific areas of focus for this group are education and training, community awareness of Arc programs and services, navigation of Arc referrals and services, and political advocacy at the local, and state level.[/ba-column]

The Family Support Network does this through:

Information sharing

  • Email updates regarding important issues

Action alerts and updates on services

  • Keeping you informed about advocacy efforts and the programs and services offered by The Arc.

Engagement through social media

Training and Education

  • Webinars, workshops and presentations will be listed as they get scheduled

You are not alone in your advocacy when you are a member of the Family Support Network!
