Membership provides clout! Membership creates a stronger voice for The Arc at the state and national level to advocate for the needs and rights of the people we support in our community.
Membership provides an identity for the 1,400 people we support throughout Oneida and Lewis Counties, ensuring access to critical programs and services.
Awareness is an outgrowth of membership, and awareness is the first step to creating society‐wide acceptance of people with other developmental disabilities.
Membership facts to remember:
- Our annual Membership enrollment campaign begins March 1 and lasts until August 1. Memberships received on or after the deadline will be applied to the following campaign year.
- Your Membership lasts one year and you will NEVER be auto-enrolled without permission.
- All members must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- We never share or sell your information.
- You may opt in or out of Membership at any time.
- Membership dues are NOW JUST $1 for you, $1 for any additional household member, and still just $1 for any person we support.
Electronic payments on our website are directed through PayPal - the safe, secure way to pay.
