After School Connections

An after school program that serves children in grades K through 5, addressing children’s individual needs relating to social skills and developing peer relationships while offering parents a safe and appropriate option for after school care.

Kids' Camp

Kids Camp provides summertime adventure and fun for both children we support, ages 5 -12, and their siblings. It’s located at our Charles B. Wolken Memorial Day Camp.

Reading, Math & After School Learning

Serving school-age children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Certified teachers provide one-to-one tutoring for students experiencing difficulty in these specific areas.

Saturday Friends

Bi-monthly respite program for families with children ages 5-10. Siblings may attend as well. Please see the flyer and calendar for specific program information.

Teen Time

A socialization and recreation program for teens ages 14-18 years of age and their friends while parents receive respite.Reservations are required.

Respite Reimbursement

Allows families to hire a respite worker to care for a qualified loved one and have their cost for care be reimbursed with OPWDD funds through The Arc. Applications for families requiring crisis support and families not receiving any other Medicaid Waiver Services are given preference. This program serves children and adults in Oneida County.

In Home Respite

Caregivers are matched with specially-trained staff to care for a qualifying loved one, so they can tend to other matters within or outside their home. Staff may assist the individual with daily living skills. This program is provided in Oneida and Lewis Counties.
