Day Services

The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter offers several group day habilitation programs throughout Oneida and Lewis counties. While each program operates under the same guidelines and regulations, each is also unique in the service provided. The programs vary in size and focus, whether it be volunteer opportunities or skill development/enhancement.

All programs provide a level of community integration. Trained staff provide services and supports while including the people we support to shape the daily activities per their preferences and desires.

Some everyday activities in these programs include developing personal hygiene skills, socialization skills, mobility training, daily living, life skills, and recreational opportunities.

The objective of these programs is to help people with developmental disabilities realize their full potential.

Who is eligible for services?
Arc Day Programs are for adults enrolled in the Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver.
