Celebrating Opportunity in Oneida County
As October closed, we hosted our Employer Recognition Breakfast, honoring the many businesses that partner with our Employment Solutions teams to provide inclusive employment opportunities for people with disabilities in Oneida County.
Price Chopper Supermarkets in North Utica, our 2025 Employer of the Year in Oneida County! Erica Tocco, a cashier, spoke at the event. Diem "Suong" Nguyen, who is employed at our Progress Industries business enterprise, received a 2025 NYSID, Purchasing That Powers Employment Outstanding Performer Award.
A special thanks to Assemblyman Brian Miller for stopping and presenting certificates of achievement to the honorees, and to Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon for sending the same, while having a representative present a Legislative Resolution proclaiming October 2025 as Disability Employment Month in the State of New York.
