Our Guardianship program celebrated the season with their annual Christmas party, filled with warmth, joy, and togetherness. A heartfelt thank-you to NYSARC Trust Services for providing the generous grant that made this gathering possible.
NYSARC Trust Services administers supplemental needs trusts (SNTs) and pooled trusts that can dramatically improve the lives of people with disabilities by enabling individuals to maintain financial eligibility for Medicaid and other means-tested government benefit programs. For 2025, NYSARC Trust Services is proud to fulfill its commitment to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by awarding a total of $1,687,293 to The Arc New York Chapters statewide.
This year, The Arc, Oneida-Lewis received 35,900.00 to provide guardianship services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who would not otherwise have a legal guardian or advocate. Supported by Chapter staff and community volunteers, The Arc, Oneida-Lewis’s Guardianship Program currently provides guardianship supports and services to six people and is ready to assist six more as a Standby or Alternate Standby guardian.
