Rest, relax, and recharge
Our Community & Family Services team hosted its annual Caregiver Retreat at Vernon Downs Casino Hotel this weekend. Caregivers were treated to an overnight stay featuring dinner, breakfast, and an engaging presentation on caregiver burnout led by Brittany Goodrich and Michelle Banks from the Kennedy Willis Center at Pathfinder Village (Community for Down syndrome).
Providing time for rest and renewal is an important way we recognize the vital role caregivers play every day. Everyone left feeling recharged and refocused on their essential duties as caregivers for the people they support.
